Workshop Upselling; Get more out of guest contacts

You want the optimum contact with your guests. KHN Amsterdam organises a half-day 'Upselling' workshop. The catering sector is active in all areas of the hospitality economy. From tourism, recreation and leisure to business expenditure.

Guests eat, drink, stay overnight and spend their free and business time in the catering sector. It is your task to ensure that guests feel comfortable and that they appreciate your efforts. How do you ensure that your guests feel comfortable when they are with you and are willing to spend more in your establishment?

For whom?

Entrepreneurs and employees in the catering sector who want to get more out of their guest contacts, who want to increase customer satisfaction and who want to entice the guest to spend their money within their establishment.

At the end of the course:

  • You have knowledge of the basic principles of communication
  • You have an insight into your own manner of communication and its effect on others
  • You apply the right questioning techniques in order to sell extra services or products
  • By using the most appropriate techniques, you stimulate the customer to proceed to purchase
  • You make sure that the customer has a comfortable feeling about his stay

Programme

In this four hour interactive workshop you will learn to generate more revenue from customer contacts. This has a twofold effect. Not only do you increase your turnover so that the continuity of the establishment is more soundly based, but the customer appreciation for you and the establishment for which you work shall also increase.

The workshop is interactive. Knowledge and experience from the field are shared. The theoretical basis is made clear with practical examples.

The workshop commences at 13.00 and ends at around 17.00 (excluding lunch).
