Cancellation policy for training courses & workshops

As a hospitality entrepreneur, you’ll know better than anyone that last-minute cancellations can often lead to unnecessary costs. That’s why KHN has introduced a cancellation policy which will apply when people register for courses, workshops and training courses.

A KHN course, workshop or training course can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 weeks (14 days) before the start of the course. Cancellations can only be made in writing by emailing khncursussen@khn.nl.

Cancellation and costs

The following rules apply if a course is cancelled less than 14 days before it's due to start:

  • 50% of the course fee will be charged if you cancel up to 7 days before the start of the course, workshop or training course.
  • The full course fee will be charged if you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the course, workshop or training course. This also applies in the event of a no-show.

Replacement?

A participant who is unable to attend can be replaced by another participant (from the same company). We must be informed of this beforehand by emailing (khncursussen@khn.nl). There are no extra costs associated with this.

Cancellation by Koninklijke Horeca Nederland

KHN reserves the right to cancel the course, workshop or training course up to six days before it’s due to start if there are an insufficient number of participants. We refer to insufficient participation if fewer than ten paying participants have registered up to seven days before the start of the course, workshop or training course.
