Training EHBDD

In-company training (tailor-made) special price for KHN-members

Amsterdam has set additional requirements for dance events in the hospitality industry. For example, the staff must follow a 'First Aid for Drinking and Drug Accidents' training (EHBDD). KHN Amsterdam offers this training in collaboration with Medical Support. You and/or your employees will learn to recognise deviant behavior and how to act appropriately.

In addition to drinking in nightlife, it is increasingly more common that drugs are being used. There is an increase in usage, especially at dance events in clubs and regular nightlife venues. During (large-scale) festivals, it is quite normal for well-qualified personnel to be present to provide first aid, if needed. Incidents do not happen often, but when they do occur, it is important that professional personnel can act adequately.

Duration: 1 half day from 13.30 to 17.30 hours.
Target group:
The training is intended for hospitality entrepreneurs and their employees, who may come into contact with people who are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Content

In order to help guests properly, it is important to have background information about the various substances and their effects. It is not just about the drugs someone has taken, but especially about the problems that can arise afterwards. You will learn this during the training. In this training you will be prepared to intervene if things go 'wrong'.

Certificate

After the training you will receive a personal certificate by e-mail. You are then available immediately from the end of the course day. The certificate is valid for two years, wherever you work. After the two years you can follow further training to extend the certificate.

Conditions

To participate you must meet the following requirements:

  • Each participant must register individually under their own name and e-mail address, because afterwards each participant will receive a personal certificate.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are in possession of a valid Red Cross First Aid-certificate or
  • You are in possession of a valid Emergency Response (ER)-certificate, not older than one year at the start of participation
