Are you regularly in need of an electrician? Who just never happens to have time when it's urgent? Or do you regularly pay way too much money for minor repairs? How nice would it be if you could carry out some minor repairs yourself! The ‘Openbare Werkplaats’ has developed a course especially for horeca entrepreneurs and their staff.

You will learn which jobs you’ll be able to work on yourself and when it would be best to call in a professional. There will be plenty of time for questions and to discuss and practice practical examples.

Duration: 1 half day from 13.00 to 17.00 hours
Aim: Learn to safely handle alternating current (220V)
Target group: entrepreneurs and employees in the horeca industry who want to be able to carry out minor and urgent electrical jobs.
Level: Basic

Course content

  • Explanation of (home/café) installations. Built-in, construction, fuse box, (residual current) circuit breaker and connection points
  • Hanging up and connecting lights

The course will include all materials. Wear some older clothes and possibly a warm sweater. It’s a maximum of 16 degrees in the workshop.
