When you work with food and drinks, safety is of great importance. As an entrepreneur, you must make sure that everyone in your company works according to the rules. Are you and your employees fully aware of those food safety rules? Our partner Sevice HACCP Safety Curaçao (SHSC) offers a monthly, two-day food safety training for hospitality managers and employees. As a member of KHN Curaçao, you and your employees receive an ANG 100 discount.
Course program
The SHSC's food safety and hygiene training focuses on the following topics:
1. Introduction to food safety supervision
2. Design, construction and use of food areas and equipment
3. Cleaning and disinfection
4. Pest control
5. Waste treatment
6. Personal hygiene
7. Contamination Hazards and Control
8. Monitor, verify and record temperatures
For whom?
The training is intended for entrepreneurs, managers, and employees in the hospitality industry on Curaçao, such as restaurants, hotels, catering, cafes, bars, fast food restaurants, takeaways, kitchens, hospitals, and people who deal with food safety systems.
Participation certificate
All students receive a certificate of participation from SHSC, after completing the two-day training. This certificate is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (OWCS) of Curaçao.
Training costs (including course materials and exam fees, excluding sales tax)
Employee: ANG 400,- per person (ANG 500,- for non-members)
Owner/manager: ANG 500,- per person (ANG 600,- for non-members)
In short: a member benefit of ANG 100,- per participant!
Next training September 25 and 26
The next training consists two half-day sessions and will be on September 25 (theory) and 26 (practice), 2023 from 8:00 - 12:00 a.m.
